Photometry & The Lighting Passport Webinar

Host:
Rez Mani did an M.Eng in Engineering Physics focused on optical properties of semiconductors from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. This was followed by a Ph.D. in Earth and Space Science focused on satellite optical instrumentation from York University in Toronto, Ontario. After working in the industry for 10 years, where he participated in a multitude of optical/laser/spectroscopic projects, he returned to York University as a contract faculty and a research associate in 2011. He has also worked for Allied Scientific Pro as a consultant since 2011 and as an application scientist since 2017.
Webinar Description:
This photometry webinar will focus on a live demonstration of measurements using  the  lighting passport from different sources.
The measurements will be saved on the cloud. The PC software operation is also demoed. Finally, TM30-20 report will be generated.
Questions regarding the operation of the device and usage of the cloud will be answered.

The webinar will cover several spectroscopic, colorimetric  and photometric topics like color temp, spectral range, CRI index, etc.
The Webinar will also discuss the TM30-18 IES/ANSI standard & how to generate the TM30-18 report by inputting the Lighting Passport into the excel TM30 calculator.
Understanding these basic concepts and calculations are essential for improving your instruments usage that involves photometric, colorimetric & spectroscopic parameters.

Once you are registered you will be receiving a Gotomeeting or WebEx link and code to get in the webinar, stay tuned!
