LaserBlast Short-Term Rental Program
Refund Policy:
Payments for the LaserBlast short-term rental program (four-month duration) are non-refundable under any circumstances.
Security Deposit for ASP LaserBlast Cleaning System Short-Term Rentals
A mandatory security deposit is required for all short-term rentals of the ASP LaserBlast Cleaning System. This deposit will be credited toward the purchase price if you choose to convert your rental into an outright purchase or a Lease-to-own agreement. Alternatively, suppose you decide to return the LaserBlast Cleaning System at the end of the rental term. In that case, the security deposit will be refunded in full, provided the system is returned in good condition, free from damage or excessive wear. Please note any damage or missing components may result in deductions from the deposit.
Note:
Please note that the interest rate for all ASP LaserBlast financing plans is subject to change based on the closing date, the client's credit profile, and current market conditions as determined by our financial partners.
Issue Reporting:
If any issues arise with the rental unit, they must be documented and reported promptly. Clear justification and detailed records are required for repairs or maintenance.
Quality Control Procedure:
At the end of the rental period, our technical team will perform a mandatory quality control assessment of the ASP Laser Blast Cleaning System.
Return Shipment Responsibility:
If the unit passes the quality control assessment, the client is responsible for arranging its return shipment.
All ASP LaserBlast units are available for outright purchase. Following system delivery, we offer a one-week window for the remaining payment. Any delay beyond this period will incur an additional charge of $500 per day unless otherwise specified in the agreement
Late Return Fee:
A late return fee of $500 per day will apply for units not shipped back on time.
Currency
All prices and transactions are in USD or CAD (refer to the quotation section).
Shipping Terms
- Ex Works: Our factories and offices
- Duty Charges: May apply based on the destination country
- Shared shipping costs: the laser unit’s return repair costs will be split equally between both parties.
Return Authorization
To return a product, an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number is required. Contact our Returns Department at 1-800-253-4107 or via email at sales@alliedscientificpro.com to request an RMA. Please provide your purchase order or confirmation number for reference.
Return items in their original packaging with all documentation. Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the package. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days.

International Returns:
For international returns, customers are responsible for customs fees, taxes, or other charges due to incorrect labeling or documentation. Mark the package as “RETURN FOR REPAIR,” declare a value of $10,000 or less for duty-free entry, and indicate “Country of Origin: Canada” on all relevant forms.
Return Policy
Warranty Returns:
- After 15 days, unopened returns may incur a 25% restocking fee.
- A 90% restocking fee applies to LaserBlast system returns (purchased or rented).
- Nirvascan units and custom items are non-returnable.
- Camera returns and cancellations incur a 90% fee.
- Laser Systems with Single Event Effect (SEE) are non-refundable.
Non-Warranty Returns:
Certain items are non-returnable unless unopened and in their original packaging or significantly outside of specification, including:
- Bare fiber (unopened, original spool)
- Laser diodes, lenses, optics, and passive components
- Customized or special-order items
Non-warranty repairs incur a minimum evaluation fee of $50, with additional costs for parts, labor, and shipping. A quote will be provided, and acceptance is required before repairs commence.
Policy Exceptions:
Terms outlined in signed Purchase Agreements or product-specific warranties supersede these general policies.
Taxes and Duties:
Customs fees, taxes, or duties may apply and are the buyer’s responsibility.
Delivery Terms:
Products are deemed delivered upon meeting applicable Incoterms, originating from our Canadian office or global factory partners.
