Return Authorization

You must obtain a Returns Material Authorization (RMA) number to return products. Contact our Returns Department at 1-800-253-4107 or via email at sales@alliedscientificpro.com to request an RMA. Have your purchase order or confirmation number available for reference.

Return items in their original packaging with all documentation. Write the RMA number on the outside of the package. The RMA number is valid for 30 days. Returns should be sent to:

International Returns:
Allied Scientific Pro, operated by ASP Laser Inc., is not responsible for customs fees, taxes, or other charges due to incorrect labeling or documentation. Any such fees will be added to our invoice or billed separately for warranty repairs. Declare a value of $10,000 or less for duty-free entry and mark “RETURN FOR REPAIR” on the package. Indicate “Country of Origin: Canada” on all relevant forms.

Return Policy

Warranty Returns:

  • After 15 days, unopened returns may incur a 25% restocking fee.

  • LaserBlast applies a 90% restocking fee for any returns of purchased or rented laser systems.

  • If the customer wishes to return the laser, a 10% fee will apply, contingent upon the results of the incoming inspection and quality control (QC).

  • Nirvascan units and custom items are non-returnable.

  • Camera returns and cancellations incur a 90% fee.

  • Laser Systems with Single Event Effect (SEE) are non-refundable.

Non-Warranty Returns

Many items we sell require meticulous handling to ensure they perform as specified. The following items are not eligible for return unless they remain unopened and in their original packaging, or are significantly outside of specification:

  • Bare fiber (if on an original, unopened, or unaltered spool)

  • Laser diodes

  • All lenses and optics

  • Passive components (e.g., isolators, isolator pigtails, circulators, fiber)

  • Tunable band-pass filter modules

  • Laser diode modules

  • Special orders, modifications, or customized items (including custom patch cables) meeting your provided specifications

Non-warranty repairs may incur a minimum evaluation fee of $50. Additional parts, labor, and shipping charges will apply and will be provided in a quote. Acceptance of this quote is required before any work begins. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs in all scenarios.

Note:  Allied Scientific Pro, operated by ASP Laser Inc., may return items showing visible damage or signs of tampering at the customer's expense.

Policy Exceptions:  Any specific terms agreed upon through a signed Purchase Agreement at the time of order will take precedence over this policy. Additionally, any product-specific warranty information provided with the product will override this policy.

Taxes or duties may apply upon product receipt, as charged by DHL, UPS, FedEx, or other couriers.

A product is deemed delivered when it meets the Incoterms applicable to each product and transaction. The seller refers to our Canadian office or our global factory partners.
