Television Lighting Consistency Index
The Television Lighting Consistency Index, developed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), is a new evaluation standard for studio lights and luminaries. TLCI scores lights in five different categories ranging from the poorest quality (85). A score of 90 is widely regarded as the minimum for television use.
Combined with the Lighting Passport spectrometer, Spectrum Genius Studio is the most versatile tool to help you monitor studio light or luminaries.
TLCI
The Television Lighting Consistency Index helps evaluating lights and luminaires with a score on a scale from 0 to 100.
White Balance
Set your target CCT and use the color chart to adjust your image or photograph to specific or neutral colors.
Exposure Compensation
Use the built-in scale to adjust the exposure and optimize the quality of your image.
TLMF
The Television Matching Factor allows users to use Fresnel or Flood Light as a reference for calculations.
ISO, Aperture & Shutter
Use Spectrum Genius Studio to set your Photo-Sensibility (ISO), Aperture and Shutter parameters.
Color checker Chart
Use the chart to visualize the difference between the reference and the measured light source as well as the Q value.
Advice for Colorist
Use the Advice for Colorists guide to adjust your lightness, chromaticity and hue for 12 different color sectors.
Smart Filter
Set your target color temperature and SGS will provide filter suggestions to change the color temperature of your luminaries
Choose your PAR reference spectrum
With Spectrum Genius Agricultural Lighting, you can easily create and import your own PAR reference spectrum, or pick one from the continuously updating built-in library such as McCree's action spectrum, DIN, Chlorophyll A, Chlorophyll B, β Carotene, Chlorophyll F, Phytochrome PR, Phytochrome PFR and Medicinal Plant (Cannabis).
